About me
Ruth and her husband, David, who have travelled extensively together throughout Asia over the past decade, providing sports ministry training, are currently based in Brisbane, Queensland.
After completing theological studies, Ruth entered full-time ministry in 2004 and faithfully served a local church for three years as God continued to shape and confirm His call to gospel work among diverse peoples and places.
In her younger years, Ruth enjoyed recreational squash, badminton, bowling, and sailing before being introduced in 2007 to the unique and powerful way sports and play open doors to the community.
Since 2007, she has served with the Global Sports Movement GoPlay Team —strategizing, planning, developing resources, training, and empowering others across East Asia to reach the unreached.
Through Sports Net, Ruth continues to grow and strengthen networks, facilitate training, and mentor developing leaders through gospel-centered relationships.
